Ex Ore (“we,” “our”) provides offline speech-to-text on your device. This policy explains what data is and is not processed.
Summary
- Audio and transcripts are not uploaded to our servers.
- Transcription runs locally using Whisper models on your phone.
- We do not sell your voice or text.
- The app does not collect personal data for our own analytics (App Store: Data Not Collected).
- Our public website uses aggregate Google Analytics; the app does not.
What stays on your device
- Voice recordings (unless you delete them; audio is not kept by default after transcription)
- Transcription text and session history (stored locally in the app database)
- App settings (language, quality preset, model downloads)
- Apple Search Ads attribution metadata (if applicable), stored locally after a one-time request to Apple’s attribution service

We do not collect audio content, transcript content, or contact lists from the app. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs inside the app.
Operator analytics (not from your device)
We may download aggregate reports from App Store Connect and Apple Search Ads using operator credentials (installs, campaign spend, etc.). These reports do not include your transcripts or voice.
Website analytics (ex-ore.com)
When you visit our marketing website we use Google Analytics (Google LLC, measurement ID G-NRTE616XZZ) to understand aggregate traffic — for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, device type, and approximate region. This helps us improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally or link website visits to your use of the app.

You can limit analytics collection by:
- Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Using browser or extension settings that block third-party cookies and tracking scripts
Your choices
- Delete all local data in Settings → Privacy (includes local ASA attribution keys)
- Restore purchases without creating an account
Children
Ex Ore is not directed at children under 13.
